Passport is ranked no. 51 by Healthcare Informatics on the magazine’s annual list of top 100 health care information technology companies by revenue.

Passport has been listed in the HCI 100 every year since 2005 but has never ranked higher than 66, its position in 2008. Acquiring Illinois-based Nebo Systems in May 2008 gave Passport a considerable boost in revenue and propelled the company up 15 spots in this year’s list. The addition of Nebo and The Cosand Group also expanded Passport’s revenue cycle management offerings, adding tremendous value for the more than 6,500 health care providers it serves throughout the U.S.

The HCI 100 is based on total health care IT revenue and offers a breakdown of year-to-year revenue growth and merger and acquisition activity for each organization.
