FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Health care revenue cycle company Passport Health
Communications, Inc. and AMERIGROUP Corporation have established a direct
connection providing access to critical data involving more than 1.7 million
patient lives covered by AMERIGROUP in 11 states.
Passport has historically provided its clients – more than 5,300 hospitals,
physician offices and other health care providers in all 50 states – access to
AMERIGROUP data through intermediary connections. The direct connection will
deliver real-time patient insurance eligibility data for certain Medicare and
Medicaid plans. Data will be available through Passport OneSource (Web-based),
Passport BatchSource (batch) and Passport IntelliSource (integrated).
