FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Passport Health Communications, Inc., a leading health care
technology firm, has announced a promotion in its software development
department along with four new hires.
Bill Ott, previously a team lead in software development, has been promoted to
software development manager. Ott oversees projects related to the company’s
internal administrative infrastructure, financial and batch applications and
applications at Passport’s King of Prussia, Pa. office, among other projects. He
has been with the company for approximately five years.
Passport has also added four employees in various departments at its Franklin,
Tenn. headquarters and regional offices.

Patty Harter is accounts receivable coordinator. Previously a consultant
for Awaken Living, Harter will assist with billing, collections and other
accounting responsibilities specifically for Nebo Systems, Inc. and The
Cosand Group, members of the Passport family of companies.

Reyes Montalvo is reimbursement consultant for The Cosand Group’s
operations in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill. She brings more than 15 years of health
care revenue cycle billing experience to the organization, most recently
with MacNeal Health Network.

Chase Pilkington is senior software developer in Passport’s headquarters
office. He was previously application engineer with Spheris, a medical
transcription company. Pilkington’s extensive software design experience
will be utilized primarily for enhancements to the company’s IntelliSource
platform.

Mandy Smith is patient account representative in The Cosand Group’s
Springfield, Ill. office. She has approximately eight years of experience in
patient financial services and billing in outpatient, inpatient and payer
settings.
