As Passport’s chief of sales and
marketing, Jeff Drake is focused on working with thousands of hospitals and
other health care providers across the country on revenue cycle solutions.
Drake has more than 35 years of direct experience dealing with the many
local, state and federal revenue cycle issues confronting health care
providers and affecting their abilities to manage daily business and patient
care activities. His oversight of Passport’s product pricing, payer
relations, strategic marketing and public relations is instrumental to the
organization’s national business growth and emergence as a prominent leader
in the revenue cycle management sector.
Prior to joining Passport in 1999, Drake had his own consulting firm for
more than 10 years, helping hospitals with long range planning and assisting
major corporations and labor groups sort out their roles in the health care
arena. He also served as executive vice president of BlueCross BlueShield of
Ohio, vice president of managed care sales and marketing for Coram
Healthcare and as executive vice president with American Health Group, a
health care policy and disease management consulting firm.
