Ben Scott joined Passport in 2000 as vice president of development. His current responsibilities as chief operating officer include system operations (information technology), software development for data content, customer support, quality assurance, and product implementation. He also manages operations at the company’s regional offices.

Scott has approximately 25 years of experience in various software development, technology, customer support and quality assurance capacities. His expertise is especially critical to Passport’s IT process and systems performance, product decisions and software development.

Prior to joining Passport, Scott spent 16 years with Telco Research Corporation as vice president of research and development, where he managed the development of network management software applications for Fortune 500 companies and managed quality assurance and customer support teams. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University.
