Pre-registration review is
an example of an inquiry frequently performed in batch. For example, at
the end of the registrars' work shifts, they may collect all registered
patients' data and send off a batch inquiry to be validated. This batch
is sent
back within a defined time period, usually a few hours.
This delivery
model requires you to create and upload an electronic file of registered patient data into
Passport for processing. Once the initial file path is established,
ongoing batch inquiries can be processed even more quickly.
Response
data is summarized in standard database reports (e.g., Microsoft® Office Excel,
Microsoft® Office Access) or customized according to facility specifications.
