FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Health care IT provider Passport Health Communications, Inc.,
has created a new product management division in its Franklin, Tenn.
headquarters in an effort to manage the company’s burgeoning client demand and
anticipated continued growth. Four vice presidents have been tapped to lead
Passport’s product development and product management groups.
Howard Bright is vice president, product management. Bright was previously vice
president of product development and has been promoted to oversee Passport’s
integrated and claims status products in the newly created product management
division, including the company’s flagship integrated product – Passport
IntelliSource®. He is a graduate of Austin Peay State University and a Microsoft
Certified Database Administrator and Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer.
Bright has held several positions at Passport since joining the company in 1998.
Joan Hall is vice president, product management overseeing compliance and
content delivery. She will be responsible for the direction of Passport’s
current compliance products and for new product content and implementation
models. Hall, who previously was vice president, operations – compliance
division, spent 23 years in various hospital laboratory, radiology and IT
capacities before joining Passport. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemical
technology and is Board Certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology.
Lance Mansfield has been named vice president, product management – financial
products. He will oversee the company’s product offerings in the financial
services arena, which aid health care providers in patient collections.
Mansfield relocated to the Nashville area from Seattle, where he was chief
technology officer and vice president of engineering for Verus.
Brian McNeece has been promoted to vice president, product development. He will
be responsible for overseeing architects and directors in the creation of new
product offerings and will be the development team liaison to the product
management group. McNeece has held several positions since joining Passport as a
software developer in 1998, most recently director of product development. He is
a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer and earned a bachelor’s degree in
computer science from Middle Tennessee State University.
Each of the vice presidents reports to Dave Tribbett, chief product officer.
