FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Through an agreement with Database Solutions, Inc. (DSI),
Passport Health Communications, Inc. will give its more than 4,000 hospital,
physician practice and other health care provider clients access to DSI’s
AccuReg® registration quality improvement technology. The partnership
also allows DSI to expand its breadth of offerings to providers to include
Passport’s patient insurance eligibility verification, medical necessity
compliance, financial products and other services.
“We consider AccuReg® to be the premier registration auditing
software on the market, so it makes sense for us to partner with a company like
Passport, which leads the industry in so many other front end areas,” said Paul
Shorrosh, president of DSI.
The alliance should prove especially beneficial and convenient for U.S.
hospitals owned or operated by Quorum Health Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries.
Both DSI and
Passport are strategic service partners for Quorum.
“Passport’s partnership with DSI is another example of our effort to extend the
value we bring to health care providers,” said Passport President Keith Ely. “By
working together DSI and Passport can effectively cover the entire front end of
the revenue cycle.”
