Accounts Receivable/Billing Clerk (Collections)

Job Summary:
Provides support to the Finance department while performing basic accounts receivable and related administrative functions. This individual is responsible for A/R collections, entering deposits, and assisting with monthly billing. The A/R Clerk also assists with some clerical duties including by not limited to filing and mailing.

Responsibilities:
  • Processes client inquiries and requests for documentation and research in a timely and cooperative manner
  • Enters daily cash receipts
  • Assists with data entry and audits
  • Makes collection communication to clients with outstanding balance to secure payment
  • Assists with matching invoice support to the monthly invoices for mailing
  • Enters new clients into Accounting system
  • Provides W-9 information to our clients
  • Provides backup telephone support for the Receptionist
  • Other duties as requested

Core Competencies

  • Strong collection background a must
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1 to 3 years of general accounting experience
  • Additional PC skills, including Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.) a must

Clinical Data Analyst (Location: King of Prussia, PA)

Job Summary:
The Clinical Data Analyst is primarily responsible for the build and maintenance of client databases and the daily operations of clinical and insurance reimbursement based software. Additional responsibilities include file processing, defining client data specifications and cross departmental communication in order to meet expected time frames of deliverables.

Job Duties:
  • Analyze client master files and define written custom parse specifications for programming
  • Build and maintain client databases per client and product specifications
  • Process and manage client data updates on a routine basis
  • Research and resolve escalated data and product support issues
  • Assist in testing both product and in-house applications as required

Requirements:

  • Four-year degree in a healthcare related field or equivalent education and healthcare related experience required

Data Specialist (Location - King of Prussia, PA)

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying any potential changes to existing medical rules through review of current and historically available hardcopy medical policies, transmittals and bulletins. This includes but is not limited to: revision and retirement of existing policies and the addition of new policies.

Because the Data Specialist is responsible for the accurate representation of medical rules and edits the candidate must have proven organization skills with extreme attention to detail, must be driven and results oriented and the have the ability to work with little supervision.

Other Responsibilities, but not limited to:
  • Extracts information from resources and translates information needed to form appropriate logic for rules
  • Completes reviews of medical policies and publications and its integration into the required database on a timely basis
  • Prepares documentation and reviews as needed with the Director
  • Maintains all medical rules editorials in the appropriate MS Access database utilizing programmatic tools
  • Responsible for timely and accurate research of resources that update critical information on a scheduled basis
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of compliance updates nationally via CD, e-mail or coordination of file transfer with Technical Support.
  • Review and investigation of Technical Support issues submitted resulting in the formulation of the response to be conveyed to the client

Relevant Experience Required:

  • Knowledge of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Coding
  • Knowledge of International Classification of Disease (ICD-9) Codes
  • Ability to understand and retain coding information, and transfer that information into completed product data.
  • Prior experience in developing medical policy edits desired
  • Previous Healthcare experience desired

Help Desk Technician

The Helpdesk Technician provides technical support for all PC Users in our organization which consist of approximately 125 local users and 175 that connect remotely.

The successful candidate will have the core responsibility to provide high level customer service while responding to all support calls, emails and web based ticket entries and record all necessary information into the tracking system.

Other duties include (but not limited to):
  • Remain familiar with the current Passport Health organizational structure and the information systems related activities preformed.
  • Support hardware and related software in various areas such as laptops, desktops, peripherals, network printers, wireless networks, cabling and projectors.
  • Document and communicate normal user activities in order to facilitate a good user support experience as well as increase efficiency.

  • Continually learn and improve technical skills by making use of reading materials and other available training tools.

Experience Required:

  • Microsoft MCP in Windows XP certification or equivalent experience
  • A+ certification or equivalent experience

Manager of Quality Assurance

Job Summary:
This position will direct the quality assurance and testing of software applications created by the Product Development team. The incumbent will work with Product Development management and developers to determine how products need to be tested in terms of customer usage and expectation.

Job Duties:
  • Communicate effectively with developers & systems operations to extract essential information to conceptualize the big picture of the system and how its parts work together.
  • Establish collaborative and diplomatic relationships with a variety of staff to determine and communicate priorities.
  • Leverage relationships and communication skills to provide guidance and direction relevant to practical recommendations for improvement of the software development life cycle within a team environment.
  • Manage various testing projects simultaneously, which may have different testing requirements and processes.
  • Hands-on testing.
  • Provide direction and management of the efforts of other testers in the department.
  • Ascertain and determine areas of greatest risk
  • Engage in efforts and activities that focus on continual improvement of testing methodologies.

  • Work with other QA staff and the QA Director in selecting software for automated, load and stress testing in a Microsoft environment.

Knowledge & Skills:
Education & Experience:

  • At least 5 years of quality assurance experience in a software development company utilizing Microsoft development tools is required.
  • Experience testing in a Microsoft environment where VB.Net, ASP.Net and SQL Server are utilized.
  • At least 3 years management experience.
  • Four-year degree in computer related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • Working experience with reading, writing and evaluating various coding languages.
  • Other Duties as Required.

Special Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience with issue tracking software such as TeamTrack.
  • Experience with commercially available testing tools such as the Mercury products.
  • Knowledge and experience of the agile development process.
  • Experience with healthcare transactions and HIS systems.

Production Control Analyst (2nd Shift)

The qualified candidate will work closely with the data providers, software development, customer support, and business analysts to maintain 24 X 7 production systems and processes.

The successful candidate will be a flexible, analytical person responsible for the following:
  • Act as primary technical contract during shift for payer connectivity, system monitoring, triage and coordination of systems issues, file transmission, and routine automated processes
  • Perform daily and other routine checklists including file transmission, report generation, connectivity checks, file manipulation, and job validation.
  • Diagnose and resolve data provider issues as needed. Track open issues and report to customer support, development, and/or clients until resolution is obtained
  • Create and maintain documentation about data provider connectivity, scripts, schedules, and contact information
  • Generate and distribute routine reports
  • Maintain processes, scripts, encryption keys, and other key information uses in file transmission processes. Work with development to modify and/or create new scripts and processes as needed
  • Handle deployment functions (“the build”).

Required Skills:

  • Experience in computer operations
  • Strong attention to detail and routine tasks and checklists is essential
  • General knowledge of TCP/IP networks and experience troubleshooting connectivity issues
  • Experience with FTP and secure FTP
  • Expertise in creating and running batch files and basic SQL scripts
  • General knowledge of health care eligibility and claims data is a plus

Software Developer, Scripting Applications
